ABOUT US

Chanakya Public School was started in the year 2003 with a few students and teachers. The loving care of the founders and the untiring efforts of the teachers has led the school to achieve the heights that it is today. The Chanakya school was started in a rented building. Then, as the year glided by, the strength of the school also began to increase and this demanded sufficient amount of space and other facilities for the proper upbringing of the students. The management purchased a land and began the construction work on a new school building. The completion of the new school building was definitely not an easy task. But today we have a full-fledged two campuses, one is day cum residential with two separate residential buildings, one each for boys and girls in the heart of Vizianagaram and another is only non-residential 3-acre campus on the outskirts of Vizianagaram. Our buildings exhibit their elegance and grandeur. The school is equipped with all the facilities that are necessary to impart quality education to the students. To name a few - smart classrooms, Physics, Chemistry & Biology laboratories, a well-stocked library, Computer Lab,  multipurpose halls and sports arena, which provide children an ideal environment for academics and co-curricular activities. Airy classrooms with comfortable desk and benches, etc. have added to the overall development of students.

We have well trained and experienced teaching staff who  work together in harmony under the able and the fruitful guidance of the Director. The response has been overwhelming that  can be witnessed from the number of students increasing day by day. For the convenience of the students staying at far off places, school buses are allotted. Therefore, from the initial numbers of a  few students to a number of approximately 1600 students  speaks volumes of the quality education imparted at Chanakya.

Chanakya continues a grand tradition of 13 successful years and prepares to move dynamically into the future.

"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then is not an act but a habit" - Aristotle
